He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Roepke and Elfrieda Roepke (Porsch); his wife Charlene Oltmanns; his sons, Darrell Jr. and Gary Roepke; his children-in-law, Mark Stoltze and Carole Roepke; and his great grandchild Briggs Allen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Stoltze of Hinton and Jeri Lynn Dahl (Jerry) of Arlington; and his sister Helen Sargisson of Kingsley, Iowa. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
