She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Fountain and Helen Fountain (Avery) of Iowa City; and her husband Lloyd E. Plecker. She is survived by: her daughters, Iris, Lois, Bette and Sandra. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society; First Christian Church; Disciples of Christ or the American Diabetes Association.
