He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Grothe and Nettie Grothe (Kline); and his in-laws, Clarence and Mary Amelon. He is survived by: his wife Judy Amelon; his children, Kevin (Betty), Lisa Nida (Leroy) and Cathy; and his grandson Trevor Nida.
