She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Oldaker and F. Lorene Oldaker (Doty); her husband Gilbert Thoren; and her brothers, Marion, Warren and George Oldaker.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Barrigar (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, Karen Diane Arnholt (Tom) of Nancy and Randy Thoren (Tracy) of Hiawatha; her grandchildren, Danielle Gavin of Overland Park, Derek Albright (Rachel) of Olathe and Sarin Wilson (Luke) of Somerset, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Reed Gavin, Allie Albright, Jack, Stella and Olin Wilson; and her brother Keith Oldaker (Glenda) of Davenport, Iowa.
All invited guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Norma's name may be directed to Hope United Church of Christ or UnityPoint Hospice.
