It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merwin Fay Zerba Sr. of Hiawatha, Iowa, born in Rowley, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Zerba and Mary Zerba (Timpson); his wife Donna Lamphier; and his siblings, Harriet Pisarik, Bertha Peifenstahl, Ralph, Raymond (Mary), Lawrence (Patricia), Rolland (Betty) and Harlan (Louise).
He is survived by: his sons, Merwin Zerba Jr. (Michele) of Toddville, Timmie Zerba of Urbana and Michael Zerba of Toddville; his grandchildren, Kevin, Derrick, Keith (Crystal), Richard (Lisa), Amber Reed (Preston) and Sarah Purcell; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Tanner, Natalia, Nash, Emma, Alexia, Hailey, Hank, Easton, Addyson, Kayden, Harper, Emberley and Huxley.
