It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Garner in Hiawatha, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Hazel (Ruvoldt) and Milton Grady; her significant other Richard Garner (Dick); and her niece Michelle Forrester. She is survived by: her daughters, Debi, Debra Garner (John Richards) of Ankeny, Sandi Stewart (Sonny) of Lincoln, NE and Kristy Mahan (Scott) of Cedar Rapids; her sister Roberta Bethard of Marion; her siblings-in-law, Ed Garner (Debbie) of Saylorville and Judy Deatsch of Truckee, CA.; her grandchildren, Gregory Jewett (Lynnsey), Lauren Jewett, Connor Mahan, Colin Mahan, April Richards-Bradt (Michael), Adam Richards and Amber Richards; her great grandchildren, Graham Spillman, Adley Odonnell, Kira Griggs, Payton Richards, Casey Richards-Bradt and Jesse Richards-Bradt; and her great great grandchild Aaron Griggs.
The family requests instead of flowers that Marian would be pleased with donations to her favorite charities.
