He was predeceased by: his parents, Carleton Church (C. C.) and Dorothy Sloane of Clinton, Iowa.; his son Todd Michael; and his brother Fred Sloane. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Kloss (Kevin) of Apple Valley; his grandchildren, Cade, Chet and Colt; his son Ted Sloane (Katie) of North Liberty; his grandchild Jayce Todd; his girlfriend Mary Ann Meyer of Hiawatha; his girlfriend's children, Barry and Chris Meyer; his sister-in-law Sharon Sloane of Camanche; his nephew Jeff Sloane (Bobbi) of Comanche; and his niece Julie Clausen (Mike) of Arizona.
