With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joey Lee Loftsgard of Hiawatha, Iowa, born in Postville, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2024 at the age of 43. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Raymond, Lois Loftsgard and William Butikofer; his uncle Michael Butikofer; and his pet Nicky.
He is survived by: his parents, Roger Loftsgard and Joni Loftsgard (Butikofer) of Clermont; his wife Crystal Loftsgard of Hiawatha; his children, Parker, Camdyn Gray and Kona; his brother Jeremy "Frog" Loftsgard of Clermont; his brother-in-law Brian Sokol (Cassie) of Toledo, Iowa; his nephews, Keidyn and Austin Sokol of Toledo; his sister-in-law Beca Sokol (Caleb) of Cedar Falls; his parents-in-law, Polly Sokol of Toledo and Dave Sokol of Toledo; and his grandmother Norma Butikofer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
