Georgene Grimm Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgene Grimm of Hiawatha, Iowa, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Staub and Angeline M. Staub (Cicanti); her granddaughters, Alicia Bascom and Sara Harman; and her great grandchild Jamil Wampler.
She is survived by: her spouse Merle Grimm; her daughters, Donna Hood, Connie Myer, Angela Karasek and Tammy Harman (Vince); her stepsons, Rex Grimm (Darla) and Rick Grimm (Andrea); her sisters, Toni Simpson (Brant) and Rose Northen; and her pet Maxie Jr.. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
A general memorial fund has been established for the family, in care of Merle Grimm.
