He is survived by: his wife Doris Olson of Hiawatha; his children, Jay (Dana), Kyle, Robert (Tara) and Jeremy (Shannon); his grandchildren, Carver, Colston, Adam, Mary, Elise, Olivia, Nora and Freddie; and his brother Layton Olson (Lynda).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
