He was predeceased by: his parents, Garry Matthiessen and Louise Matthiessen (Young); and his sister Marilyn Lent. He is survived by: his wife Mary Cash; his sons, Randy (Joni) and Darin; his granddaughters, Kacie, Shelbie and Shanna; and his sister Marie Waggoner. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Goettsch Funeral Home (306 E 1st St, Anamosa, IA 52205). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
