He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Martin, and Alberta Martin, Sr. (Sherrod); his children, Brendley Dixon and Rodney Epps; his siblings, Aria Martin (Ella Murphy), Elbert Wilson, James, Andrew Martin, Alvin Cooks, Luther Dixon, Ben Mims and Eugene Murphy; and his sons-in-law, Saul Servin and Terry Aossey.
He is survived by: his significant other Stella Dixon of Hiawatha; his children, Robert of Washington, Levi (Regina) of Washington, Edward Martin, III, Cynthia Martin, Arthur Dixon, Bob Dixon (Lisa), Cora Dixon, Tonia Servin, Tony Martin and Edwina Esmoil (Gordon); his siblings, Neil Martin, Davis Martin (Linnet), Ida Mae Martin, Agnes, Franki, Alberta Martin and Ella Hall; and his friend Bill Aossey.
