He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Goins (James "Louie"); and his parents, Margery Morrissey and David Leo Morrissey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Graham; his children, Ryan Morrissey (Emily Porter) of Georgetown, TX, Sean Morrissey of Germany, Kyle Morrissey (Jamie) of Cedar Rapids, Felicia Altenburg (Derek) and Van Hauen of Olive Branch, MS; his grandchildren, Ellanor, Hudson, Leo, Amelia Morrissey of Cedar Rapids, Nathan, Liam, Lillian Morrissey, Margaret, Helen, Oliver, Andrew Morrissey of Georgetown, TX and Kayden Altenburg of Olive Branch, MS; his sisters, Karen Funk (Duane) of Cedar Rapids and Barbara Eggleston (Tracy) of Mount Vernon; and also, Mona Morrissey of Tacoma, WA, Joseph Morrissey (Jody) of Lead Hill, AR and Loren Morrissey of Cedar Rapids.
