We bid farewell to David Lee Glade of Hiawatha, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 9, 2024 at the age of 66. David Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Beverly Glade, (Romans); his brothers, Dennis and Todd Glade; his grandson Christopher Caldbeck; and his sister-in-law Gerita Glade.
He is survived by: his father Oran D. Glade, Sr.; his significant other Melinda Glade of Hiawatha; his children, Adam Caldbeck (RaeEllen) of Mississippi, Jeanne McDonald of Cedar Rapids, Erin Glade of Hiawatha and Cassandra Vazquez (Jesse) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Austin Owen (Cadie) of Cedar Rapids, Massiah Speller of Cedar Rapids, Lucas Trimble of Cedar Rapids, Pyper Vazquez of Cedar Rapids, Bexlee Vazquez of Cedar Rapids, Jeter Lee Vazquez of Cedar Rapids, Adam Caldbeck, Jr. of Mississippi, Alexis Caldbeck of Mississippi, Aria Caldbeck of Mississippi and James Rae-Caldbeck of Mississippi; his great grandchild Harper Owen; and his siblings, Jake, Donald, Dean Glade and Delray Nitzel (Jeff). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marion American Legion Post 298 (625 31st St, Marion, IA 52302).
