He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Montgomery and Ruby Montgomery (Hunt); his brother Earl Lee Montgomery; and his granddaughter Mikayla Taylor Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Montgomery of Hiawatha, Iowa; his sons, Todd Montgomery of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Troy Montgomery of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Presley Montgomery of Cedar Rapids and Chase Montgomery of Marion, Iowa..
