It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlo Burdette Ginther of Hiawatha, Iowa, born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ginther and Bertha Ginther (Hamilton); his wives, Berniece Ginther and Myrna Ginther; and his children, Michael Ginther and Nancy Mackerman.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Ginther (Rhonda) of Marion, Kenneth Ginther (Kim) of Palos Hills, Steve Ginther (Elizabeth) of Jefferson City, Missouri, Linda Starry (Lynn) of Excelsior Springs, Cindy DeYarman (Kerry) of Cedar Rapids and JoAnn Knapp (Lonnie) of Cedar Rapids; and his stepsons, Joel Conderman of Waukon and Greg Conderman of DeKalb, Illinois. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Arlo's memory may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion.
