He is survived by: his wife Florence Doris McNear; and his children, Elder James McNear, Jr. (Regina), Pastor Julie Bell (Pastor Ben), Kevin McNear (Debra) and Karen Towers (Steve). He is also survived by siblings, 15 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
