She is survived by: her husband Donald of Henderson, Iowa; her children, Alan Sowers (Paige) of Dallas Center, Iowa, Sally Shearer (Stan) of Glenwood, Iowa and Paul Sowers (Cindy Murray) of Henderson, Iowa; her grandchildren, Chelsea Sowers of London, England, Nicole Stamer (Reed) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jacob Sowers of Chicago, Illinois, Chase Sowers of Iowa City, Iowa, Bradley Shearer of Omaha and Natalie Shearer of Iowa City, Iowa.; her siblings, Arthur "Bud" Elkins (Bonnie) of Emerson, Iowa, Keith Elkins (Sandra) of San Angelo and Rose Stogsdill of Henderson, Nevada; and her brother-in-law Bryan Sowers of Henderson, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
