It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Byers of Henderson, Iowa, born in Carson, Iowa, who passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Byers (Terrell) and Harold Ellis Byers; his wife Joy; his sisters, Connie Bolton (Irvin) and Gwen Eggers; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Shiffer and Yvonne Lamoree.
He is survived by: his children, Justin Garland and Bambi Byers of Henderson; his grandchildren, Devin Byers (Deidre) and Kayla Byers; his great grandchild McKenna; his brother James Byers (Kay) of Griswold, IA; his siblings-in-law, Gregg Eggers of Carson, Dale Garland (Mary Lou) and Glenda Miller; and his close friend Beverly Jefferis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and many friends.
