She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred E. Bensmiller and Leona Reynolds Bensmiller; her husband Carl "Nick" Nichols; and her son Dan Nichols. She is survived by: her daughter Deb Richey of Hedrick; her grandchildren, Ashley Nichols, Taylor Nichols, Chelsea Fett (Austin), Adam Nichols and Dylan Richey; her great grandchildren, Emmaleigh Haynie, Jason Fett and Shyann Fett; and her sisters, Virginia Wood (Loren) of Altoona and Donna Clubb (Don) of Maricopa, Arizona..
