She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady Showman and Mabel Showman (Rider); her husband Gary Messerschmitt; and her siblings, Mary Showman, Dorothy Jacobs, Danny Showman, David Showman and Donald Showman.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Messer (Shannon) of Fairfield, Michael Messerschmitt (Lavada) of Martinsburg and Willy Messerschmitt (Loretta) of Martinsburg; her grandchildren, Marisha, Ashley, Erin, Kendra, Jamison, Alex and Abi; and her siblings, Mildred Hartson of Cedar Rapids, Virginia Glick of Cody and Thomas Showman (Kathy) of Otterville, Missouri.. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Arndt-Bollin-Stubbs American Legion Post #83.
