It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Hummel of Hazleton, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Hummel and Eleanor Hummel (Rohrig). He is survived by: his former wives, Tammy Strosahl and Diane Bonjour; his children, Justin Hummel (Randi) of Hawkeye, Jamie Hummel (Jessica) of West Union, Jerritt Hummel of Elgin, Jason Hummel of Arkansas and Jennifer Crandall of Arkansas; his stepson Jake Doudney of Independence; his brothers, Ron Hummel (Carmie) of Maynard and Randy Hummel of Oelwein; and his grandchildren, Ryker Hummel, Skyler Hummel and Nathan Doudney.

Due to state and federal guidelines on gatherings regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing is required. Those in attendance are required to wear a mask.
