It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Minton of Hazleton, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Minton and Geneva Minton (Mitchell); his son Kirk John; his sister Ivadell Conklin; and his siblings-in-law, Caroline Dohlman and John Lenz.
He is survived by: his son Kevin George (Janice) of Hazleton; his wife Margaret Lenz; his sons, Daryn Minton (Tracy) of Williford, AR and David Minton (Diane) of Milo; his grandchildren, Megan Oldenburger (Nate), Melissa Tucker (Todd), Kaela Minton (Brent Balk), Cass Minton (Korissa), Shawna Ellis, Tom Minton (Kim), Sam Westendorf (Pam), Keith Minton (Angel), Spencer Westendorf (Kaylene), Stephanie Westendorf, Cameron Minton (Kayden) and Grant Minton; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Conklin of Arkansas and Bea Lenz. He is also survived by his 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
