She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Roepke and Edna Ellen Roepke (Weitnauer); her husband Bob; her son Chuck VanHeiden; and her siblings, Jerry Roepke, James Roepke, Paul Roepke, Gladys Higgins, Marilyn Medberry and Bessie Roepke.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Gearhart (Dan) of Winthrop and Dale VanHeiden of Hazleton; her sisters, Thelma Duckett of Texas, Elaine Rockwood of Janesville, Judy Crandall (Mark Lang) of Cedar Rapids and Alice Roepke (Michael Vega) of Texas; and her sister-in-law Susan Roepke of Hazleton. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
