He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Moore and Marlene Mary Moore (Burget); and his grandmother Phyllis Coventry Hookom. He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Latasha Cookinham (Chad), Amanda Hernandez, Larinda Moore, Derrick Moore, Deon Moore, Jr. and Quincy Moore; and his siblings, Stuart Young of Waterloo, Brock Young of Waverly, Jesse Young of Waterloo, Craig Coventry (Nancy) of Independence, Carletta Ginther (Dale) of Jesup, Jean Wilson (Jerome) of Waterloo, Sherill Cain of Independence and Michele Rose of Independence. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
