We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Carol J. Bate of Hazleton, Iowa, born in Marshalltown, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chris Rosenau and Darlene Marian Rosenau (Stufflebeam). She is survived by: her former husband Robert Carlson; her husband Kevin Bate of Hazleton, IA; her sons, Christopher Carlson of Englewood, OH, Joshua Carlson of Melbourne, IA and Darrin Carlson (Holly) of Readlyn, IA; her stepsons, Derek Bate (Steffanie) of Sumner, IA and Curtis Bate of Littleton, IA; and her siblings, Donna McElhaney (John) of Waterloo, IA, Debra Graybill (Troy) of Shell Rock, IA, John Rosenau and Darrin Rosenau (Lesbia) of Jacksonville, FL.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
