With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paulette (Polly) Carter of Hayesville, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Adams and Ruth Davis Adams; her husband Carl Carter (Dean); her sister Lois Tremmel (Dean); and also Tipper.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Ashby (Chris) of Bloomfield, Yvonne Pitsch (Tony) of Sigourney and Julie Anderson (Rob) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Melissa Wilkins, Jake Ashby, Megan Phillips, Renae Griffiths (Barry), Aaron Halls, Nicole Chestnut (Ben), Amanda Griffin, Cole Anderson (Chanci) and Carlee Mileham (Ryan); and her siblings, Judy Wright of Hedrick, Clyde Adams of Sigourney, Claude Adams of California and Craig Adams of Illinois. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
