With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Wells (Hayesville, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Jean Langstraat and Ross Leon Wells; his stepparents, Alice Wells and Richard Langstraat; his grandparents, Leonard, Faye Wells, David and Marjorie Roush; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Fleig and Jedd Wharton.
He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Fleig of Libertyville; his children, David Wells and Amy Stewart (Matt) of Sigourney; his grandchildren, Lily, Abyl, Emerie and Sage of Sigourney; his siblings, Debbie Wharton of Batavia and Allen Wells of Martinsburg; and his close friend Carrie Fleig of Fairfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
