He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Westhoff and Ceil Westhoff (Kramer); his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Dr. Ron Carpenter; his brother-in-law Bob Wienke; his brother Bill Westhoff; and his sister-in-law Helen Westhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Gansemer; his sons, Michael Westhoff (Linda) of Prattville, Ala and Richard "Rick" Westhoff of Urbandale, IA; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Brooke, Trista, Brianne, Jillian, Chris and Parker; and his siblings, Dan Westhoff (Mona) of New Vienna, IA, Fred Westhoff of New Vienna, IA, Larry Westhoff (Mary) of New Vienna, IA, Bob Westhoff (Debbie) of Crete, IL, LouAnn Wieneke of Dubuque and Linda Vavricek (Dennis) of Peosta.
