She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Vries and Lois De Vries (Hedden). She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Lee Gradert; her children, Carolyn (Dana Munns), Julie Strong (Jeff Dreesen) of Yankton, Lisa (Mark Luschen), Gerad (Danielle Gradert) and Brad (Courtney Gradert); and her siblings, Norma Rabey (Bill) of Akron, Judy Danielson of Hawarden, John De Vries (Willy) of Hawarden, Lannie De Vries (Twila) of Hawarden, Evelyn Schoppman of Hawarden, Madonna Grubb (Chris) of Hawarden and Susan Taylor (George) of Le Mars, Iowa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be directed to Sioux Center Health Hospice.
