He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Charles Fred Bertram, Sr. and Hazel Bertram (Struble) of Virginia; his siblings, Rosalie, Leslie and Donald; and his brothers-in-law, John Heider, Kenneth Wright and Robert Pearson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Nema Heider of Apple Valley, Marlene Wright of Sioux City, Marilynn Young of Tucson and Linda Pearson of St. Paul, Minnesota; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Bertram of Little Rock, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
