He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wyhe and Sophie Van Wyhe (Klave); his wife Dorothy Miedema; his son David; his siblings, Lawrence (Sophie), Johnnie (Fern), Elmer (Stella), Robert (Rose Mary), Hazel Popma (Russ), Viola Liston (Howard) and Leona Koopmans (Hank); and his brothers-in-law, Pete Kortlever, John, Clarence, Chuck Miedema and Daryl Kratochvil.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Van Wyhe (Fran) of Hawarden; his daughter-in-law Judy Van Wyhe of Sioux City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Alycia Kielty (Trent) of Sioux Falls, Tyler Van Wyhe (Alyssa) of Hawarden and Ryan Van Wyhe of Sioux City; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Lincoln, Jack, Ronan Kielty, Addilyn, Emmalee and Clara Van Wyhe; and his sisters-in-law, Frieda Kortlever of Orange City and Hilda Kratochvil of Tucson, Arizona..
