She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jager and Willa Jager (Richardson); her husband Verle Marienau; her siblings, Harry, Jr. (Bud), Ralph, Gordon, Ron, Bob, Geneva Tucker (Sis), Betty Vipond, Lois Plueger and Toddie; and also, Henry and Alvina Marienau.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Wilson (David), Linda Schipper (Rick), Sharon Wakeman (Jerry), Mark Marienau (Lethia) and Susan Sharpe; her grandchildren, Shanna, Brian, Nate, Seth, Chris, Sam, Katie, Steven, Willa, Shania, Kelcie, Rachel and Henry; her great grandchildren, Marley, Clover, Sophie, Olive, Oscar, Ian and Greta; her siblings, Ruth Benda (Harlan) of Hawarden and Jim Jager (Verna) of Hazel Green, Alabama; and her sisters-in-law, Margie Jager of Rock Valley and Glenda Jager of Woodbury, Minnesota. She is also survived by two step-grandchildren and five step-great- grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time.
