It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Younie (Hawarden, Iowa), born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on May 21, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Youngkin (Wood) and Mable; her husband Scott Younie; her son Richard L. Younie; her grandson Justin; her siblings, Ted Youngkin (Martha), Louise Younie (Gene) and Lloyd Youngkin (Marjorie); and also, Elmer and Cora Younie.
She is survived by: her children, Scott R. "Rocky" (Mary Ann) and Patricia L. James R.; her granddaughter Holly Kasten (David); her great grandchildren, Rhone, Ramsey, Patricia Koch (Ken), James Younie and Vick; her brother Ellwood Youngkin (Audrey); and also, Jerred (Joey), Madisen, Reagen, Josh, Emma, Rylee and Peyton. She is also survived by 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time.
