It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacoba Cornelia Hulshof of Hawarden, Iowa, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe Falkena and Grace Falkena (Remmenga); her husband Everett Hulshof; her daughter Donna; her great grandchild Kendra Hulshof; her brothers, Abe Falkena and Fred Falkena; and her parents-in-law, Ellie Falkena, Dorothy Hulshof, Jacob and MaryAnn Hulshof.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Hulshof (Wanda) of Ireton and Carol Bronkhorst (Curt) of Hawarden; her grandchildren, Cindy Engelsma (Dave), Ron Hulshof (Martha), Brenda Hulshof, Katie Den Boer (Darin), Julie Geuze (Dan), Harlan Hulshof (Tammy), Matt Hulshof, Danette Burrington (Shawn), Caitlin Bronkhorst (Orlando Guzman) and Cristine Hurtado (Dom); her brothers, Evert Falkena (Barb) and Andrew Falkena; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Falkena, Vel Falkena and Melvin Hulshof. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
