He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman C. Marienau and Neva R. Marienau (Mitchell); and his brother Jeff. He is survived by: his close friends, John and Amy Kennedy; his wife Sandy Segar Marienau; his daughters, Molly Keuffer (Dan) of Sioux City, Rachel Baxter (Garrick) of Omaha and Greta Rogers (Scott Sirovatka) of Sioux City; his stepson Matt Segar (Kristi) of Sioux Center, Iowa; his sister Lycia Anderson (Curt) of Hawarden, Iowa; his sister-in-law Barb Marienau of Sheldon, Iowa; his grandchildren, Matt, Brett, Trevor, Eli, Maci, Molly, Abigail, Baylen, Christian, Danny, Rachel, Zander, Emmelia, Boston, Knox, Bella and Alexander; and also Lilly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
