She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Gaul and Eylene Gaul (Heeren); and her husband Larry Waterman. She is survived by: her children, Amy Smith (Rick) of Algona, IA, Bobbie Kelsey (Kirt) of Lake Park, IA, John Kennedy (Amy) of Hawarden, IA, Josh Kennedy (Sarah) of Hawarden, IA and Jodi Plathe (Brent) of Hawarden, IA; and her siblings, Dave, Diane, Mike, Sue and Jim. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
