It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Arlene Perkins of Hastings, Iowa, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Jones and Anna Jones (Baker); her husband Jesse Junior Perkins; her son Jay Perkins; and her siblings, Wayne Jones, Max Jones, Harry Jones, Virginia Johnston and Clara Mohatt.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Trainer (Jerry) of Lincoln, NE, Carol Hanssen (Randy) of Johnston, IA and Russell Perkins (Betty) of Hermitage, MO; her daughter-in-law Susan Perkins of Hastings, IA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Gillman of Elkhorn, NE, Brad Trainer of Lincoln, NE, Brooke Trainer of Arlington, TX, Wesley Sowers (Allison) of Bettendorf, IA, Dustin Sowers (Gaby) of Johnston, IA, Ryan Hanssen (Lynsie) of Johnston, IA, Devin Hanssen (Sarah) of Ankeny, IA, Laura Hatcher (Troy) of Hastings, IA, Casey Perkins (Melanie) of Liberty Hill, TX, Brett Hansen (Jessie) of Baldwin City, KS, Jesse Perkins (Deanna) of Glenwood, IA, Kristin Perkins of Emerson, IA and Matt Perkins (Ingrid) of Emerson, IA; her great grandchildren, Berkeley, Bo and Bennet Gillman; her grandchildren, William, Reagan, Olivia, Sophia Sowers, Brayden, Jayce, Elianna Hanssen, Amanda Blok (Tim), Austin Hatcher, Josie, Carson, Cole Perkins, Nick Perkins (Lulu), Nate Perkins, Isabelle Allen (Levi), Mason and Johnathan Perkins; and her great great grandchildren, Savannah, Lucas Blok and Jack Allen. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
