He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. Swartzendruber and Ethel Swartzendruber (Colgrove); his wives, Shirley and Gerda; his brother Robert; his grandson Camdon Luke; and his sister Arlene Evers.
He is survived by: his children, LouAnn Owens (Jim) of Mansfield, Glen Swartzendruber (Alana) of Lubbock, Libbie Miller (Michael) of Harvey, Kevin Swartzendruber (Susan) of Knoxville and Keith Swartzendruber (Christi) of Justin, Texas; and his sisters, Shirley of Adrian and Kay of Harvey.
