He was predeceased by: his parents, John Steinbeck and Myrtle Steinbeck (Williams); his brother Wayne Steinbeck (Reva Steinbeck); his parents-in-law, Orve and Tressa Flickner; his siblings, Evelyn (Vernon Kruse), Garland (Ann Steinbeck), Leland (Jean Steinbeck), Donald Steinbeck and Elaine Struve of Spencer, IA; and also, Gordon Struve and Del Dittmer.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Flickner; his daughters, Pamela Steinbeck of Gilbert, AZ and Darcy DeBoer (Preston) of Hartley, IA; his granddaughters, Tressa DeBoer (CJ Cheever) of Fairmont, MN and Jenna; and his sister-in-law Sonia Dittmer of Overgaard, AZ.. He is also survived by his brothers, brother-in-law.
