He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Sadie Meiske, Sr. (Zinn); his wife LaVaughn Lill; his son Lee; his siblings-in-law, Donna Meiske, Louis and Lloyd (Dorothy); and his nephews, Dennis Lill, Dean Lill and Tommy Meiske.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Albrecht (Dave) of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Ann Schauer (Phillip) of Sergeant Bluff, IA and David Meiske (Kris) of Dakota Dunes, SD.; his grandchildren, Emily Hinnah (Wes), Adam Albrecht (Maria Gochenour), Luke Schauer (Taylor), Hannah Duff (Brian) and Sean Meiske; his great grandchildren, Josie Geisler, Hudson Hinnah, Bowman Schauer and Kinley Schauer; and his brother Jay Meiske (Gerry) of Eden Prairie, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and their families; and many friends.
