He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sutherland and Gertrude Sutherland (Kiley). He is survived by: his wife Joan P. Lester of Ruthven, Iowa; his children, Jeanette Wright (Brandan) of Glendale Heights, James Sutherland (Bonnie) of Dickens and John Sutherland of Ruthven, Iowa; his grandchildren, Gregory Wright, Amelia Wright, Shaylee Sutherland, Addison Sutherland and Payton Sutherland; and his nephew Jason Sutherland (Cheryl) of Blanchard, Oklahoma. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
