He is survived by: his former wife Carol Lyn Bengston; his friends, John Beck, Don Speck and Eugene Walrod; his wife Denise Lynn Hickmon of Hartley, IA; his daughters, Michelle Flick (Darwin) of Primghar, IA and Kara Snyder (Mark) of Sanborn, IA; his grandchildren, Adam Heyn, Sam Heyn, Kelly Flick, Kyle Flick, Samantha Sulsenti (Matthew) and Katie Flick; and his great grandchild Emerson Sulsenti. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartley Funeral Home (830 2nd St NE, Hartley, IA 51346). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity United Church of Christ (140 N 5th Ave E, Hartley, IA 51346). A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Pleasant View Cemetery (680 S Central Ave, Hartley, IA 51346).
