With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Lee Walker (Hartley, Iowa), born in Spencer, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 47. In the vast expanse of eternity, Daniel Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daniel Lee farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Walker. He is survived by: his mother Ardel Ann Walker (Rueter); his daughters, Kaylee Walker and Allee Walker; his grandmother Sharon Rueter; his half-siblings, Tom Walker (CJ), Bob Walker, Michael Danner and Shayla Daner; and his stepmother Helen Walker. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartley Funeral Home (830 2nd St NE, Hartley, IA 51346). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Fellowship Church (361 N 8th Ave W, Hartley, IA 51346).
