He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Nagel and Helen Nagel (Jensen); and his stepmother Anna Nagel. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Jean Hinz; his granddaughters, Theresa, Amanda and Megan; his children, Brian Nagel and Lynette Recher (Mark); and his brother Vernon Nagel (Becky).
In keeping with the Corona Virus guidelines, a graveside service for family and friends will take place on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:15 a. m. at Pleasant View Cemetery near Hartley, IA.
