He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Niewendorp and Valienia Niewendorp (Valienius); his wife Jeri; his son Greg Niewendorp; his parents-in-law, Edmund and Dorthy Bergeman; his sister Sharon; his siblings-in-law, Ken Scott, Fanny Bergeman and Maurice Lewis; and his nephew Larry Bergeman.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine; his grandchildren, Anna Hibbing (Adam) of Paullina, IA, Emily Garcia (Danny) of Brooklyn, NY, Claire Kniveton (Burket) of Whitefish, MT and Joseph Niewendorp (Melanie) of Brooklyn Center, MN; his great grandchildren, Owen Hibbing of Paullina, IA, Arthur Garcia of Brooklyn, NY and Bjorn Kniveton of Whitefish, MT; his brother-in-law Richard Bergeman of Priest River, ID; his nieces and nephews, Edmund Bergeman, Linda Bergeman-Morden, Deborah Bergeman, Maurey Lewis and Toree Lewis-Hefner; and also Marley Niewendorp of East Jordan, MI.
