It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ray Richards of Hartford, Iowa, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ivan Richards and Martha Richards; his wife Lynda Richards; his siblings, Fred Richards and Jo Lynn Lovely; his sister-in-law Raye Betts; his children, James Richards, Dennis Duncan, Jennifer Howe and Ann Richards; his grandchildren, Christian Duncan, Olivia Duncan and Emerson Richards; and his great grandchild Kendrick Duncan. He was also cherished by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorials may be given in Jim's name to Community United Presbyterian Church of Hartford or Carlisle Area Dollars for Scholars fund (PO Box 397, Carlisle, IA, IA 50047).
