She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Boedeker and Mildred M. Boedeker (Berger); and her husband Orville F. Peters. She is survived by: her children, Dale Peters (Rita) of Spencer, IA and Nancy Koster (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Stephanie Peters (Robert Graff III) of Minneapolis, MN, Jill Koster of Plymouth, MN and David Koster (Courtney Malo) of Herndon, VA; and her sisters, Elva Ellermann of Slidell, LA and Donna Esquer of Yucaipa, CA..
Marcia was most recognized for her beautiful hand quilting, and she often donated the quilts to raise money for various charities.
