He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Tapia Morales and Angelina Juarez Salinas; and his son Osmar Tapia Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Angelica Espinoza Romero of Harris, IA; his children, Guadalupe Tapia (Ismael Nevarez) of Nevarez, Javier Tapia (Lou Yefimova) of Sioux Falls, SD, Edgar Tapia of Cedar Falls, IA and Eric Tapia of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandsons, David, Javier and Arthur; and his siblings, Adrian Tapia, Margarita Tapia, Roberto Tapia of Michoacán, Mexico, Elio Tapia, Salud Tapia and Arcelia Tapia of Idaho.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home - Andringa Funeral Chapel of Ocheyedan (855 Main St, Ocheyedan, IA 51354). A Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1215 7th Ave, Worthington, MN 56187).
