It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Kleinschmidt (Harpers Ferry, Iowa), born in Dougherty, Iowa, who passed away on January 2, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ray and Lucy Betty McCauley (Warner); her husband Donald Lavern Kleinschmidt; her granddaughter Lisa Delaney; and her brothers, Melvin and Marvin McCauley.
She is survived by: her friend Robert Waller; her children, Doug Kleinschmidt (Liz) of Tacoma, WA, Jody Delaney (Ron) of Harpers Ferry and Connie Kleinschmidt of Luana, IA; her grandchildren, Dustin Thorstenson (Miranda McCormick), Amanda Furr, John Delaney (Jason Burkum), Shawn Delaney, Ashlee Thorstenson (Auston May) and Jessyka Kleinschmidt; her great grandchildren, Carlee, Brody Thorstenson, Denver Halverson and Lincoln May; her sister Mary Stange of Mason City, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Jan, Mary Lou McCauley, Darlene Theiking, Norma Iserman, Lois Palmer and Shirley Heinselman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
